Terms of Service

These terms cover valyro.xyz, the documentation, your account, the component registry, valyro-cli and the hosted MCP server (together, “the Service”), run by [OPERATOR: FULL NAME OR COMPANY] (“we”). By using the Service you accept them.

Software licences

• The free core — the valyro-ui package and the core components and themes the public registry serves with source — is licensed under the MIT License. Use it anywhere, for free.
• valyro-cli (the CLI and the local MCP server) is licensed under the MIT License.
• Everything else — the valyro-ui-pro package, Pro components, themes and templates, the Figma Kit — is proprietary. A paid plan or a free Pro licence we grant gives you a licence to use it as described below and on the pricing page.
• Third-party fonts and images keep their own licences, listed in the repository’s LICENSE file.

The Pro licence

• Seats are people: everyone who writes or changes code that uses Pro, or installs it with the CLI or MCP, needs one. Solo is one developer, Team is 3–20 seats, Company is up to 50 developers of one company.
• You may use Pro in any number of your own and client projects, commercial ones included, and ship it inside the compiled apps and sites you build.
• You may not resell or redistribute Pro source on its own or inside a product that competes with ValyroUI (a UI kit, template pack or code generator), publish it in a public repository or registry, or share your account, tokens or seats with people who have no seat.
• After you cancel: projects started during the subscription keep their Pro components for good; after 12 paid months, every version released before you cancelled is yours for any project. Updates and the Pro registry stop. A lifetime licence has no end date.
• A refunded or charged-back purchase ends the licence it paid for.

Account and tokens

You sign in with GitHub. Keep your GitHub account and your API tokens safe: whatever is done with them counts as done by you. Revoke a token on the account page as soon as you suspect it leaked.

Payments

Paid plans are sold through Polar, our Merchant of Record: Polar is the seller of record, takes the payment, charges sales tax or VAT and issues invoices. Polar’s buyer terms apply to the purchase as well.

Monthly and yearly plans renew automatically until you cancel. Cancel any time in the billing portal (linked from your account); Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for. Prices are on the pricing page; a price change applies from your next billing period, and we tell you before it does.

Fair use

Do not attack, overload or try to break into the Service, get around its limits or access checks, or use it to break the law. We may rate-limit, suspend or close accounts and tokens that do, and keep what is needed to deal with the abuse.

Other services

Sign-in goes through GitHub, payments through Polar, and the site is served through Cloudflare. Their own terms apply to what you do on their sites. Names and trademarks of third parties shown in the demos belong to their owners.

No warranty, limited liability

The software and the Service are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.

Ending

You can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

Changes and law

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the current version, and we announce material changes on the site or by email before they apply. These terms are governed by [GOVERNING LAW AND COURTS].
